IBPS photo and signature size
IBPS asks for four separate JPG/JPEG files. These sizes have stayed the same across recent IBPS PO, Clerk and RRB notifications:

IBPS also captures a live photo during registration. This is in addition to the uploaded photograph, not instead of it. Some forms, such as IBPS Clerk, also ask for a 10th certificate PDF; if yours is too large, use the PDF compressor.
How to prepare each IBPS document
Photograph
Use a recent colour passport-style photo with a light, preferably white background, your face clearly visible and no dark glasses or cap. Choose the Photograph preset and drag the preview so your face sits in the centre with a little space above your head.
Signature
Sign with a black pen on white paper in your normal handwriting. Signatures in capital letters are not accepted. Choose the Signature preset, zoom so the signature fills the box, and keep background whitening on.
Left thumb impression
Press your left thumb on a black or blue ink pad, then on white paper. Make sure the ridges are visible and not smudged. If you don't have a left thumb, the notification allows the right thumb.
Handwritten declaration
Write the declaration text printed in your notification, in English, in your own running handwriting with black ink, not in capital letters. Write it in an area about 10 cm wide and 5 cm tall so it fits the wide 800 × 400 shape without squashing. The wording differs between IBPS and SBI, so never reuse an SBI declaration for an IBPS form.
Why IBPS uploads get rejected
- A file outside the KB range. Files that are too small are rejected too; this tool automatically keeps them above the minimum.
- A stretched or squashed image, usually from forcing a square photo into 200 × 230. The crop tool keeps the right shape.
- Signature or declaration written in capital letters, or declaration written in blue ink.
- A blurry, dark or shadowy scan. Take photos of documents in daylight from directly above.
